West Vue Memory Care Unit

 

West Vue's Memory Care Unit provides a homelike setting with living accommodations for 18. It has a separate kitchen, dining and living room, shower room, and an enclosed courtyard for outside activities. Meals and activities for our Memory Care residents are enjoyed in the security of our family atmosphere.

 

Individuals desiring admission will be screened prior to admission to ensure that the unit can meet the physical, social, mental, and psychological needs of the potential resident. A resident must have a dementia diagnosis, be able to benefit from the behavioral-based environment, and have behaviors that are not a threat to the other residents of the unit. Discharge from the unit would be necessitated if the resident begins to require more medical assistance than behavioral, and is deemed to no longer benefit from the programming provided in the unit.
