West Vue Nursing & Rehab Center Activities

 

West Vue Activity Department provides scheduled programs that include individual, group, and independent activities 7 days a week. The program provides a variety of recreational activities that meet the residents physical (exercise class 4 times a week and bowling), mental (Bingo, Jingo, Card-o, and reminiscing), psychosocial (monthly birthday parties, quilting club, cooking club, and special events), Spiritual (Sunday School every Sunday morning, Prayer Group, Church services 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening, 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon and several special gospel music groups during the month, as well as pastoral visits) needs. Programs are provided to establish community contacts as well, for example, Wal-Mart shopping, car shows, luncheon outings, and visits from children at school who participate in the group activities with the residents.
